Pink Floyd Album Syncs Up With Star Wars: The Force Awakens

By Joe Rock

Optical-dispersionSo maybe Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon” syncs up with “The Wizard Of Oz” and maybe it doesn’t. It all depends on who you speak to and what they were doing while watching it.

Now though comes word that the album syncs up with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

Allegedly during an early sequence in which the movie’s key villain, Kylo Ren, is torturing a Resistance pilot in order to gain information. The scene lines up with “The Great Gig in the Sky” (“I’m not afraid of dying / Anytime will do”), right up to the song’s scream, which happens just as Kylo’s prisoner opens his mouth.

Take a look at the first 8 minutes or so and decide for yourself.
